| There are simply too many pets and not enough homes for each one.
Each year Friends of Animals rescues hundreds of animals, and while we are committed to finding a permanent, loving home for each one, it is clear we cannot adopt our way out of the pet over-population problem: The key to ending euthanasia of unwanted pets is to spay and neuter.
In 2008, we will spend nearly $50,000 on spay and neuter services. Your contribution will ensure that we are able to continue this vital program.
By the end of this year, with your support, our new rescue and rehabilitation facility in Browns Canyon will be up and running. This facility will allow us to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home hundreds more animals each year. Our new facility will house a spay and neuter clinic, which will provide services for all dogs and cats in the FOA program, as well as low or no-cost services in the local area. In addition, the center will provide treatment, medications and convalescent care for animals in need.
But none of this will be possible without your financial assistance. We need to raise $150,000 to help pay for medical equipment and supplies that can provide lifesaving treatment, spay and neuter surgeries, and therapy to heal neglected and abused animals.
Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to this cause. Please join us in this important work! Your continued support is vital to our vision of a time when there will be no more homeless pets.
